I was born a painter,
the messiness of it,
the ability to be
fully absorbed
into a painting-
covered in its colors,
pieces of yourself staining the canvas-
its an instinct
to pick up a paintbrush
IVE BEEN A PAINTER MY ENTIRE LIFE,
& HAVE DABBLED IN VARIOUS MEDIUMS
- BUT POTTERY -
THE ABILITY TO CREATE AND SCULPT
THE IMAGES I HAVE IN MY HEAD,
IT’S ASTOUNDING.
The ability to learn and grow in pottery
is so fascinating. I love painting,
and hope to take classes to grow in that medium as well.
but the vast things you can create with clay-
it’s truly endless.

from Gordon State college
with an associates degree in theatre.
it was a long journey- lots of ups and downs,
but it was worth it
to now be able to pursue my
education in my dream field.
