I THINK WHAT EVERY ARTIST WAITS FOR,

IS BIG BREAK.

A CHANCE TO GET OUT THERE AND

BE SEEN.

lazy j gave me that Opportunity

In 2020 i started putting my art out there,

and shortly after that

the coolest store in t-town opened.

And the stars aligned,

Ive been a vendor at the lazy j almost 3 years now,

THe REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE

I’VE gained OWNING A BOOTH,

SELLING MY ART,

And being mentored by the amazing owner,

IS IRREPLACEABLE.

I EARNED MY

ASSOCIATES

DEGREE

IN THEATRE

AT GORDON STATE COLLEGE

I GREW UP ON THE STAGE,

IF I WASN’T COVERED IN PAINT OR GLITTER,

YOU’D PROBABLY FIND ME WEARING A FEATHER BOA,

BEING DRAMATIC

-AND PROBABLY STILL COVERED IN GLITTER-

THEATRE PUSHED ME

TO BE CONFIDENT

I STRUGGLED WITH MY MENTAL HEALTH FOR AWHILE,

AND HAD TO PUT MY EDUCATION ON HOLD.

THIS REALLY AFFECTED MY CONFIDENCE IN

MYSELF AND MY FUTURE

I MET THE RIGHT DOCTOR- AND WITH THE

RIGHT DIAGNOSIS, I STARTED HEALING.

I WENT BACK TO SCHOOL,

AND FOUND THE THEATRE DEPARTMENT

AND THAT’S WHERE

I FOUND MYSELF AGAIN.

I GOT MY

CONFIDENCE BACK.

GRAPHICS CREATED FOR:

WE NEEDED A GOOD CLEAN

LOGO

FOR THE EVENT,

WITH THE FESTIVAL LANDING ON

EARTH DAY,

I THOUGHT IT’D BE A CUTE THEME TO TIE IN.

THIS LOGO WAS THE BASE OF THE

MAJORITY OF THE MARKETING,

USED FOR T-SHIRTS, STICKERS, MAPS, POSTERS, FLYERS, ETC.

poster design

I was really aiming for a music festival style poster-

lots of colors

and information

but streamlined

into a design

you’d

stop to

look at

nothing makes an event

more official

than stickers

event maps

these maps were by far the biggest challenge,

they were sized for a 4x6 AND had to still be easily read,

which was a challenge due to the amount of information I needed to include.

I honestly didn’t know where to start in the layout-

but the printed versions turned out great, the colors tied in from the poster really popped out.

I illustrated

a book

about thomaston

a incredible thing

happened to me

when a truly fabulous

woman approached me,

she had seen my

technicolor

thomastons,

and loved them.

she was writing

a book about thomaston,

and wanted it to be as much fun as t-town is.

she asked if I was interested in being the

illustrator

and thus, a powerful duo was born,

collaborating on this book about my hometown

was kinda surreal. im so proud of how it turned out.
