a personal piece

I haven’t painted a personal piece

in a while and wanted to tap into

my new evolution.

back when I was in high school,

I painted a mural on my wall,

of me with a sword.

following graduating,

I struggled with

my mental health,

it felt like I fell

into a dark void.

I’ve been climbing out of the black ever since.

I’ve put that sword to good use,

fighting for myself

and my future.

design

I used the Earth-inspired logo

and hippie aesthetic to create

a music festival lineup vibe

with vibrant colors

while effectively communicating all

of the details for the event.

as chairperson of

Thomaston’s Art and soul festival,

my first order of business was a

kickass

logo.

with the event landing on earth day,
I decided to tie that into the design.

scrambled burger

capital of the world

Thomaston holds many unique buildings and people,

but within the boundaries of T-town,

one of the fundamental elements

-that solidifies the Thomaston experience-

is the famed scrambled burger.

(a scrambled burger is NOT a sloppy Joe, that is slander)

so, I decided to make it official and put us on the map,

because they are a glorious experience all should experience.

excursion

the new year started off with a bang

While attending the first planning meeting for

Thomaston’s 2nd annual

Art and soul fest

I received the distinguished title of

chairperson

I wasn’t sure exactly what I was signing up for, but it was

one of the most rewarding projects I’ve ever participated in.
